Gubernatorial candidate Dennis Steele to cut ribbon at opening of the Abenaki library May 20, 2010
Gubernatorial candidate, Dennis Steele, who has known Chief Lone Cloud since he was a young boy, will be cutting the ribbon at the Native American reading room and the Chief Looking Glass research library.
A collection of mostly Abenaki genealogy records dating back as far as the 1500s is available for public perusal, according to Chief Lone Cloud. The collection is in place, and mostly burned onto searchable compact discs.
The grand opening is scheduled for 1:00PM May 28th at Feathers Discount located at 4 Main street Orleans, Vermont.
