ABENAKI PERFORMERS WANTED
Native American performers, dancers, musicians, storytellers sought for Play Festival "SLAMBoston Comes to Vermont: Diverse Voices in Theater" at Chandler Center for the Arts in Randolph VT on July 23, 24 & 25th.
The mission of the festival is to create a forum for under represented voices in theater and includes a diverse selection of original plays. One of the plays "Ktsiaiak/Old Ones" was written by Joe Bruchac specifically for this event.
A powerful and humorous play, it is important that some Abenaki performers be involved. Not a tremendous time commitment - 1 or 2 rehearsals + the dress rehearsal on July 22nd and obviously the 3 performances.
A small stipend is available.
