Chief April St Francis Merrill and Anthony Pollina

April St Francis Merrill , Chief of the Abenaki Nation of Missisquoi, St Francis/Sokoki Band met yesterday in Burlington with Anthony Pollina candidate for Governor. Many feel that the focus of this campaign year has little to do with the working Vermonter and just for those that have been identified as entitled or privileged.

They discussed issues important that will affect most Vermonters and the Abenaki, such as;

Job development verses job losses

Food verses fuel

Health care verses death

Educational opportunity for all Vermonters
