This video introduces Samantha Crain, a 22-year-old Choctaw singer, as she takes the viewer on a tour of her hometown, Shawnee, Okla.
Crain and her band, the Midnight Shivers, have a new album, "Songs in the Night," due April 28.
The magazine Oklahoma Today, in a profile of Crain, said her "unique Okie flavor ... effortlessly blends indie rock, folk, bluegrass, country, and soul for a fresh, modern sound full of quirks."
Crain told the magazine: "I've always had a knack for eclectic things. I pull from all areas of culture, life, and nature to paint my own picture."
